In person and online yoga classes
I am passionate about women’s health and supporting people with cancer through yoga. Classes are specifically designed to honour and nourish women’s bodies and acknowledge the cyclical nature of our energies. Whatever phase of life you are in, there will be a class for you.
I encourage a deep listening and honouring of our bodies and our needs, giving permission to really care for ourselves. Through this we have more energy, less stress, increased creativity, stronger intuition, physical freedom and comfort, better menstrual health, more comfortable pregnancies and births, better post natal recovery, easier menopause. I help you develop skills that help us manage the demands of life and ride the waves of our life’s cycles. I aim to have fun too!
Benefits of online classes
Although there is much joy to be had attending class in person, there are some special benefits through doing live interactive online yoga classes, which are different form following a pre-recorded video).
You practise in the comfort of your own home
You can practise from your workplace or when you are away from home
You don’t need to live locally to me to access classes
No need to travel in the dark or bad weather
Classes can fit around around other commitments such as work and child care
You can receive ongoing support between classes
Join a community of women and make friends
How do online classes work?
I use Zoom, which is an online conferencing platform, to hold online yoga classes. It is free for you to download and use. Once you have booked, you will receive a link to join the class.
Classes are live and in real time and we can see and speak to each other. Only people who have booked can join the class so they are as private as a regular class.

“All through my experience of cancer, the simple breathing exercises I learned through yoga were an enormous help to me” - Julie Friedeberger
MONTHLY ONLINE RESTORATIVE YOGA - Wednesdays 8:15pm - 9:30pm GMT
Suitable for all ages and abilities
Restorative yoga is an opportunity to safely let go of stress, anxiety and tension that can accumulate in these challenging times. We are all faced with higher than normal levels of stress, worry and frustration which can impact our quality of sleep and digestion, our ability to concentrate and make good decisions as well as our overall mood. My restorative class is aimed at deep release and rest physically, mentally and emotionally so that we restore healthy function to our body systems and restore peace of mind. You will feel refreshed, relaxed and re-energised.
Restorative yoga is a suitable practise in first trimester pregnancy as it is no strain on the body. As we ususally do some back lying postures in class, if you are over 20 weeks, please notify me in advance and I can prepare alternative postures for you.
“Taking time out each day to relax and renew is essential to living well.” - Judith Hanson Lasater
